Not to argue, just clarify, my manual states it this way: "In the 1996 Manual, I (WW) highly recommended pulling all the case studs, helicoiling the stud holes and replacing the studs in the holes. Many builders had trouble with this. If you feel that this is beyond your talents, you can always look for a set of cases that has intact studs." My manual doesn't come straight out and say so, but almost does, that they should be pulled and helicoiled. I guess the later manuals just state it more clearly. Thanks for clearing that up guys...
