The Revmaster cowling that I saw was cut a few inches long, so it could accomodate a range of engine mount lengths. The installer was expected to cut the length to fit. But like Dan said, nothing is going to fit without some modification, but that modification to get the basic fit is fairly trivial compared to setting up the fastening system to actually attach it to the plane, so don't let that bother you.
