I don't really see where you disagree with Larry (or whoever) here.  You 
just added that at the low end of the envelope (landing) there is some loss 
of control with increased weight at the same "normal" landing speed.  Sure, 
that's true, and nobody would disagree with you.  It is very easy to prove 
that most KRs (mine included) suffer very little if any speed reduction in 
carrying a 200 pound passenger.  In some cases (because of a more 
speed-optimized CG) they are actually faster with the higher weight.
