Take a look at Drawing No. 90 (Page 116 in my KR2 plans) and you can see the difference in surface temperature with color. In 110F ambient air the peak surface temp is 162F with white; 171F with yellow; 220F with Green or Red; and 237F with Black (http://kr.flyboybob.com/images/kr2/kr2plans-drwg90.jpg).
