I believe that I pointed this out about 4 or 5 years ago.  I found that the
distance between the cables on the stick end, is not the same as the
distance between the cables on the elevator bellcrank end.  If they are not
the same, you don't have a parallelogram, and there is no way to avoid
having one going very tight and the other one going slack when the elevator
is being deflected.  I believe that one was 2.5" and the other was 3".  When
converting to the dual stick and push rod thru the spar, to cables, I found
this and corrected it on my plane.

cables were apparently different lengths, so that at full aft actuation, one
cable went partially slack, while full forward both were tight.
