Some A&P think that slick mags are junk and not worth rebuilding. There is a shop in Dallas that will rebuild all mags. There is an AD on the mags I don't remember if it is you should or should not have a red coil or maybe that is bendix with the bad coil.I don't worry about it anymore because I bought new mags a couple of years ago. If you really need to know go ask an A&P to pull the ad's on that mag for you. It is a very simple thing to do.
