Just in case some of you do not know or have forgotten, Jeff Rodgers of Airplane Plastics in Tipp City, Ohio blows canopies for a lot of the kit manufacturers. He makes RV series, Mustang 2, I am using Quickie Q200 canopy for mine, I think he does Dragonfly as well. He will do anything you want, he IS the best in the industry, he IS the longest lasting in the industry. They used to set up in the fly market at Oshkosh 25 years ago in the old days. His number is 937-669-2677, tell him Larry Howell in Texas told you to call. Larry H.

If you want your frame wider, use foam and fibreglass. The canopy does not have to span the whole width of the fuselage, just as far as you need it too. You could have a five foot wide fuse, and a three foot wide canopy or what ever you want. My Dragonfly canopy is 38" wide but would go to 42" easily.
