The Harley carbs are too big for the 1835 as I tried one.The throat is too
big but a smaller venturi model should do fine.
Also just solved a problem on my 2100 that somebody might
appreciate.Noticed a noise at idle rpm that got bad enough to check
out.Found the aluminum flywheel loose.Removed the engine and found the
bushings on the dowel pins worn out, making the noise. After much thought
and wondering how to replace the bushings I contacted Revmaster by
email.Without making a novel of this story let's just say I got some
really good service, sent the flywheel to them and now it's back good as
new.Tommy W.
