Something I did not mention was that two flights ago, I was drawing outside 
air from the front of the cowl through the filtered airbox directly into the 
carb. The last flight I had which lasted 1.4 hours, I had closed the front 
of the cowl and was drawing air into the carb from inside the cowl. This 
warm air entered the filtered airbox before the carb. Today's flight was the 
same set up, closed cowl drawing air from inside the cowl.
