I've never calculated that, but William Wynne says it's one amp per thousand rpm, which makes sense given that you're producing more sparks at higher RPM than at idle. I've never measured it, although I'd love to, mainly because my coils are buried under the forward deck and it would require a little effort to measure. But next time I'm under there, I may just do that. But to answer your question, that's what I based my wiring sizes on, and it's worked so far...
