Well I said I didn't know anything about the 12 but the canopy is one thing I did look at compared to the 601. The 601 canopy is a disaster waiting to happen and has to leak like a #$%#$%. Van's used their same canopy support on the 12 as their previous airplanes. Totally different. Now, the look just may be a result of the mission profile.
