Ok changing the subject line here - I've been experimenting with the "Landshorter" VG's (Landshorter.com) I placed 48 VG's on each wing (including the stubs) there are 100 total supplied. The instruction provided state the position range is 8 to 12% of the chord with the most common being 10%. That's what I used on the RAF 48. My application resulted in a 3 mph decrease in the clean stall speed. With no noticeable change in the top speed. This is what I got - your results will likely be different.
Moving them forward to the 8% position might slow the stall further but being that far forward would probably effect the top end. There are full instructions and templates for various spacing depending on the span. The only trick with the KR is the tapered wing and the resulting differences in chords - you will have to modify the template to account for that. The reason is that you have to maintain a 15 degree angle to the relative wind.
