Let's see, at KGSH our T-hangars with sliding doors that we have to push
open by hand went up to $88 per month this summer. But we have three planes
(a KR2, a Minimax, and an Airbourne trike) all shoved into one hangar, so on
the KR2 our share is $29 per month. But there are five of us partners in
the KR2, so I guess I'm paying $6 per month hangar rent. (It would be 50%
more if we wanted a hangar with electric bifold doors . . .)

But the hangar isn't the point, the sky is! Getting closer, thanks to good
ideas observed and picked up at the KR gathering. I hope to run the engine
this week, just did my biennial review, and trying to keep current so I'm
fit for first flight. A pleasure to meet and learn from you all there,

I think my KR will be ready to move to the airport by spring so I thought I
should start looking for hanger space. I first called Harnett county airport
HRJ to check about hanger space. They have a waiting list which I will be #3
on the list. A T hanger is $255 per mo.
