Try using an ADHESIVE REMOVER when you want to remove ADHESIVE. 3M makes an adhesive remover that works very easily and does not harm the canopy, nor will it harm paint, if you just put it on and take it off. I am on my 3rd pint of the stuff going back over 10 years and 2 KRs. It is called 3M adhesive remover and can be found in your auto paint store. It is made to remove adhesive. That is why it works so easily. Little to no rubbing. That is why it is called ADHESIVE REMOVER.
