I am with Larry in that I would think as straight as possible would be
fantastic. Years ago I had an old Cessna 120, I believe the repair manual said
to set the axles such that you had 1 or 2 degrees toe in.
Maybe this is in case you are a really good pilot--- : ) when landing with a
slight cross wind, while tail is blown slightly down wind, and landing on the
upwind wheel with wing down and other wheel up off the runway, the touching
wheel will be going straight !! See what I mean about being a really good
pilot?

I have the 30 inch Diehl legs and 5:00X5 Cleveland wheels
with a gear track of 8 foot width. I set my wheels as close
to zero toe-in / toe-out as I could get them and I LOVE the way
my KR tracks on the ground. My tires are showing little if
any unusual wear. You will get as many opinions on toe-in
/ toe-out as there are KR builders. Consider yourself warned.
