A KR will not carry the whole family, unless the pilot and spouse are the whole family. With the limited seating in a KR, a spouse may not want to drive with kids to the function while pilot flys the KR. If not then the number of KR aircraft may be limited and then it would be a drive in instead of a flyin. Might be better to hold the flyin as is, change date if needed, hold a second family KR get together and those who can fly can and those who need to drive the family can do so. The selfish bottom line may be best to hold during school because of limited seating in KR aircraft. That way a pilot will not have to feel guilty about leaving spouse and kids behind. Notice how I was politically correct in saying spouse ? LOL Larry H.
