Netters, No Prime Rib in this story,....well can't say that anymore.
I spent the day at the airport today working on snakebite. Value Job, fixed the pilot side canopy latch, made the holes bigger for the new bigger tires for the retracts, cleaned the bottom of the airplane, (oil, exhaust, dirt etc.) Tightened the tail wheel bracket, I did not see on the preflight, due to the weight on the tail. Make sure to lift the tail and check this. I also tightened the throttle cable, where it goes through the dash. Swept and mopped the hangar. I pulled the lower cowl off to do some glass work on it where it nosed over, due to a bad jack placement. I also cleaned out the blow by can that I had for the oil, wow the most I have ever had, although I have not dumped it since before Oshkosh.
