One of the things I've been threatening to do at the Gathering for years is to pull the whole top off my airplane so folks can see exactly how one is built. Somebody remind me to do it and I will (if I'm not too busy flying passengers). It would take me less than 5 minutes to take the whole top off, and maybe 7-8 to put it back on, so it's no big deal. Just don't laugh when you see something that doesn't meet your standards.
