I understand completely why the list manager of KRNET goes postal every
now and then over the asinine and utterly unnecessary quoting of previous
posts when responding.   It takes up bandwidth, it takes up space on the
server, and it's annoying as hell to have to scroll through fifteen
copies of the same post just because the AOL types don't know how to
respond to a post without quoting everything that has gone before.  
Witness the recent entries about nitro . . .

Most of us have to figure out how to do lots of somewhat complicated
things that have to do with engines, avionics, airspace, etc.  What is so
g** d***** difficult about using the common and simple skills of using an
electronic forum?
