Although it is on Mark's site somewhere (I originally got it from there) and
in the archives, there is a quick and dirty look at a flap set-up using the
KR design torque tube and the flaps Mark L mentions and uses on his KR. The
W.A.R. Corsair that I was into a couple of years ago had this and, until I
had to let it go, looked and worked smoothly on the ground (not flying!) The
site FLAPS FOR YOUR WARBIRD (near page bottom) is:

Subject: KR> Flaps/tubes tec.

Netheads,

I am interested in all the information about flaps/connection to tubes etc.

Has anyone any idea what the touque is on the tube when the flaps are
lowered.

This would give anyone an idea of what size tube to use, what size of
flanges connections etc & what power is needed in the actuator.

Also once the system was finished you could test load to a required torque.

Regards

Robin
