EAA AirVenture Chapter Award Winners
************************************
What a wonderful week AirVenture is. We all have
the opportunity to fully immerse ourselves in aviation
and enjoy every minute of it! One of the nicest parts
of the week is the opportunity to recognize a group of
our Chapter leaders for all of their hard work and dedication.
The following Chapter awards were presented during AirVenture
and let us also take the opportunity to give them additional
recognition for their contributions:

MAJOR ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
The EAA Major Achievement awards recognize individual
EAA members for their personal commitment and contributions
to EAA, Chapters, their fellow members, and the recreational

The EAA Newsletter Editor award was established to recognize
the hard work and dedication of the Chapter Newsletter Editors.
It recognizes excellence and achievement for the outstanding
communication tool of their Chapter newsletter. The award is
judged on content, appearance, layout and consistency. Each
year the newsletters improve to yet an even greater level of
quality making the judging increasingly challenging. Let's
congratulate the following newsletter editors:

EAA WEB EDITOR AWARD
The EAA Web Editor award began in 2000 and in such
a short time period we have seen the Chapter web sites
grow in leaps and bounds. The award recognizes the
time and commitment that is required in developing
and maintaining these high quality web sites that also
exemplify the spirit of the local Chapter and EAA. The
web sites have become a critical part in Chapter
communications as they provide information to both
current and prospective members at any time of day.
