I would think there would be a lot more credibility if the plane was already flying, and all the blanks were filled in with real flight tested information. There's still a possiblity of errors or outright mistruths, but I'll bet most of these are about as accurate as the owners know how to make them. Testing errors are a real possibiliy, especially if indicated airspeed is relied on for the speed numbers, but it should be a helpful tool with engine size and prop selection.
