I have ordered exclusively from ACS and have never had to ask& they told me where it was coming from. I, however, always ask price & availability when I order over the phone and I almost never use a credit card on line because it can leave to many tracks tied back to me. --ID theft concerns
What I do not like is them busting orders into small shipments because it inflate my shipping charges. although Wicks in Chicago is closer.
