Chris & Co., I've been toying with the idea of wooden turtle deck for some time. I'm not that far advanced yet, but am keen to go that way. Partly due weight & cost, but also as I figure it will save time. I'm doing my fuse in Hoop Pine ply (being an Aussie also, it's easier to get here than Spruce).
