Keep in mind if a 1b is registered as a motorglider it will be flown by a pilot with a glider certificate and motorglider endorsement. No LSA regs to comply with and no medical. I'm truly suprised there aren't more of this variety of KR but then again there are few Moni and Monerai still out there as well.
