NetHeads, With all this talk of stall speeds, I have to wonder about the accuracy of the numbers that are bantered about. Even as anal as I am about numbers and accuracy, I wouldn't swear I know exactly what it is (so I'll try harder in the next few hours to get good data). I'm not sure I believe the 52 mph number given by RR. One repository for such numbers is Orma Robbins' site at http://www.kr-2.aviation-mechanics.com/krinfo.htm , specifically at http://www.kr-2.aviation-mechanics.com/data1.htm . One thing's for sure...if you want a slow stall speed, you need to build it as light as possible.
Speaking of Orma's spreadsheet, a lot more of us need to send our data to him to fill in this table some more. I know there are more than 19 flying KR's in the world. And speaking of Orma, how's that engine rebuild coming? Only 60 more days!
