It's only $59 and keeps you from doing stupid things like buying the wrong engine or (I hate to say it) unscrewing all your head studs. Pat Panzera built a gorgeous engine with many hours of modifications, CNC machinework, and polishing, only to find out he built it from the short stroke version, which is lower power and weak connecting rods.
