Thanks for the info on gear and open cockpit. I am doing the mains now before I take it out the first time. The nose gear is complete. Now I need to fill those big holes on the wing bottom (later).
I think I may fly it open cockpit first, and hope I don't encounter adverse flight characteristics. It seems like the exposed extended seat back would cause a positive pitching moment. We'll see. I am currently completely changing out the throttle mechanism and controls. I have a Revmaster 2100. I still have not the found the reversing throttle quadrant that I like. I notice from photos several setups. Any suggestions for a reversing application? I have been though most of the catalogs. Perhaps this is the additional Oshkosh trip justification I need to sway the wife. Regards, Chuck
