  Thanks for allowing me to become a member of the list.. I was a member
some years back..  Not currently building nor am I an owner.. That said;
a friend of mine in Bowling Green Ky has just bought an old, stock Kr2
and has some issues with it.. Hoping to help him get it going and through
a conditional inspection..

   The first problem is a broken rudder control horn.. One side is broken
back to the vertical shaft that must form the leading edge.. Wondering
how best to repair? Looks as if the glass will have to be cut out? New
Aluminum belcrank installed.. I figured it would be cro molly and welded
to a rudder leading edge tube..

   The engine is an 1835 that uses a stock Posa. I suggested that there
might be better carbs available? :-)

   More later.. Appreciate any help that might be forthcoming.. Herb
