What I meant was that while traveling forward you are already getting some rotational assist from mother nature, for a prop not to windmill even the slightest seems unusual to me. You may be right though, the Vair may have high enough compression to lock it that rapidly. My experience with cars, tks, & heavy equipment is that when engines lockup under power it's bad news-------the worst. Lets hope its fuel or ign. Kenny W
