Netters: This exchange is very instructional as unlike Dan I wish to slow the bird down to the magic 138 mph(120 kts) max dictated by "Sport Plane Rules". It would seem that will not be a difficult problem now just to make sure that the stall stays under the 51 mph (44 kts) which appears possible with my long wings and a an MTOW of 886# or less.
