It never hurts to have an extra set of trained eyes look over your work. Another option you have is the local EAA chapter Technical Councilor. His / her documented visits to your project will help your confidence level in the project, help identify things that need correcting, and will be noted by the DAR that does your final inspection. Depending on who you get your insurance from, the Tech Councilor and Flight Advisor programs may get you a break on you insurance also. Larry Flesner
