It's Friday and life is sooooooo good. I just could not stand it so I took the
afternoon off and went flying. This time I actually had a cool flight. That is,
as in cool cockpit air. Last night I went to the hanger and sealed up all the
holes in the firewall and boy what a difference that makes with cockpit air
temp. It was a pure pleasure flying today in a relaxed, air cooled
environment. Heck, I did not even feel hot. The numbers were good today: at
5000' I got the following; 3400 rpm, cht 325°, exhaust temp 1325°, oil temp
210°, oil pressure 40 psi and all this gave me a 145 mph level cruise.

How sweet it is to own and fly a KR.
