N886MJ took to the skies this evening for an uneventful 45 minute flight. I basically just flew around at different speeds just to get the feel of her again since I had not flown since last Thanksgiving day. In flight max rpm was 3150 with a speed of 135 indicated. With the tail wind at 4000' the GPS was reading 168 mph ground speed. Down at the runway we had 14 mph winds almost straight down the runway. Greased her in for a landing. Flying a KR is like riding a bike, you just don't lose the touch. Sure is good to be back in the air. Life is good again.
