are the exhaust valves the limiting factor in the vw i ask this after reading
bob hoovers accounts on the subject and he is adament that the exhaust valves
get to hot when in continuous use at high rpm .i hear 2900 -3000 or around
55-60hp continuous being the maximum

so question is if they are getting to hot will fitting larger valves help by
transfering the heat over a larger valve seat area and into the head. this
could be a good move potentialy pureely for the cooling aspect

has anyone fitted larger valves in the 1835 than standard of 35in 32 ex and
what did you find .

in the 2180 i am fairly sure bigger valves are needed
