On your thoughts about the objectionable nose high stall attitude we 
designed a wing cuff for the outer wing
which worked and have since been incorporated into
our design during the mid 90's. Unfortunately I am not at liberty to 
disclose the aircraft or tests. But if you are
working with or are an engineer familiar with this method,
I might shake your memory on this.
