About your computer and the crooks: the crooks know how to use YOUR computer to
steal money from you, and if you do not know that, you are ripe for the
picking. I happen to read a computer magazine ("E-zine") called "Cnet" which
has helped me learn a lot about computer security. It's also a good place to
find reviews about devices you may want to buy, like computers, video or DVD
recorders, TVs,etc. It comes into your Inbox once a week or so and has links to
very good articles about computer security as well as new advances in the
electronics field.
Today their theme just happens to be "Phishing" and I highly recommend this
article to all KRnet members. Click on link below - it's safe - or
"cut-and-paste" it to your browser address window.
Too many of our members have no idea that their computer can be used to clean
out their bank accounts, cause them months of misery and do the same for
everyone they send e-mail to. You can also use this link to sign up for Cnet.
Highly recommended.
Learn to use your computer. It is a lot more than just a way to send and
recieve mail and the crooks know it. So should you.

That scam has been going since the 70's and snail mail. Probably still works
- why else would it still be around.
