I've never heard of people actually being turned away. However, it's
intentionally not widely publicized and it's purpose is for Sport Aviation
enthusiasts only. It's only a very small fraction of the size of an OSH
Convention with grass runways and very laid back. The private owner, Rudy
Frasca, also has a real neat museum and generally gives a very interesting
tour of his Frasca Simulator Plant - both on site - and for free. If
interested, I can post a few pictures somewhere from previous fly-ins. Not
sure about this year, but a $20.00 donation has been asked for at the gate,
to help defray expenses for the entire weekend. Also, very reasonable
prices for breakfast, lunch, etc. It's a chance to meet and chat with some
great aviators (some are famous) up close.
