I once had to pull a fuel filter; let the gas run out; blow through it to my other hand and found water bubbles in my other hand. I had to replace the filter and it solved the problem.
However, in this case, if I have read it right there is no sump at the tank low point or gascolator to drain the water. (Maybe there was a gascolator?) JR
