I agree with all of what ORMA posted, except for one thing. This is not my "opinion". To be PIC in an EXPERIMENTAL aircraft, does not require a TD endorsement to fly a conventional gear EXPERIMENTAL aircraft.
The key words here are EXPERIMENTAL, and REQUIRE. Just because it is an experimental, does not mean that an endorsement or equal experience is not needed, it is just not required.
