Thanks for the reply...so he is using a one piece design then....I noticed his gear look to be mounted forward of the spar ( or so it looks). I would like to incorporate the design into my KR1. I'm also thinking of doing the one piece laminated capstrip spar as mentioned by Langford. This will prohibit me from removing my wings but the span is only 17ft. The upside is easy building and strength with none of the stub wing fuel tank issues.
