Larry, As far as I know, there are only five of us actually flying the KR with the new airfoil. The problem with documentation comparison is the fact all of these planes are new and did not fly the RAF48. Unless someone who has a KR with the RAF48 that has flight documentation on that wing, then removes it and installs the AS50xx and then document the new wing performance, will we ever get true accurate performance numbers. Even then, since no two KR's are identical, each KR will have it's own unique flight characteristics. That is going to be a tough one. We can tell you that stability has improved considerably. I can actually fly hands off. I do not know of any RAF48 that can do that more than a few seconds. Here is a good statistic site on KR's if you have not seen it. Orma Robbins created this for us and everyone needs to send data to Orma so he can keep it current: http://www.kr-2.aviation-mechanics.com/krinfo.htm

I know there has been a lot of talk about it over time. Just wondering if there is documented comparisons that anyone is keeping up with over an extended time period. If so, is there a number that one can expect in the catergories below for example? > Top Speed, (then difference from old airfoil), Take Off Distance, Landing Distance, Stall Speed, (difference)etc. > Thanks for your help > Larry H. > > _______________________________________ > Search the KRnet Archives at http://www.maddyhome.com/krsrch/index.jsp > to UNsubscribe from KRnet, send a message to krnet-le...@mylist.net > please see other KRnet info at http://www.krnet.org/info.html >
