Stephen Don't worry! If you use West System as described in their brochures or book it will bond as well or better than T88. Remember that a 'bonding' filler is used to make a paste of West epoxy and filler for bonding, something like 407 ( I don't have my chart handy) and the fillers are dirt cheap. I think Harold Woods up here in the cold north (Orillia) is using West extensively on his KR and may enter into this discussion or use the 'search engine' with West or Harold Woods (Nov 2003 was the date he posted his opinion on West System) as the identifier and check the archives. I use West System an all my boat fixes and they never come apart and wood failure is always first and complete destruction of the part is next. Just remember to avoid doing bonding or lay-ups in cold climate.
