Would the 2S plans be the "supplement".  I think that for a KR2S, you buy
the standard KR2 plans and a KR2S supplement. 

Rear drive is not as common as coming off the pulley end, but it is a good
way to do and there are many examples of it having been done successfully. 
I think there is one engine company that does not do it any other way.

   Reading on plans from Sunday's posts.. must be pretty common for builders to 
end up with  multiple sets.   I have the original set of plans that  came with 
my basic KR2, and a unused 2004 set of KR2S plans.
