Just a little crank info for the VW flyers. I talked to Steve today. I asked him about nitriding and he said that all the GPASC crank shafts are nitrided. He also informed me that Joe Weber's engine is not a Great Plains During our conversation, he cautioned me against thinking that, just because it was nitrided, that it could not break. Our engine will be on it's way home early next week, so we might just see it by Friday, or the following Monday.
