Fram makes a nice adapter that I have seen used on certified planes. It is available at Pep Boys and most other auto parts houses. It is a drain plug adapter that converts the removable plug into a twist on plunger style that even has its own 6 inch hose for ease of draining. The plug stays in the engine pan, and has a spring loaded valve that allows the adapter to push up into it and twist on which starts the flow of oil, and you just direct the hose where you want the oil to drain. When done, twist off and the valve seals itself, no worries of leaking drain plugs with old gaskets. The hose goes with the adapter for a nice neat installation. If the size is wrong, one quick trip to the Ace Hardware store will net a home made adapter for the valve assembly, and you are in business...
