I have got the same body saw, and it is definitely an all-time favourite!
I borrowed that thing from my company's workshop one day, became an
instant convert, and was not happy until I got one for myself. I battled
to find one, and paid a dear price for it (about $150 if I remember well),
but that was money well spent. Guys, go for it!

A few more tipsabout it:

- It uses metal hacksaw blades. You just break them to the required
length, then slip them inside, and clamp with two side grubscrews..
- I works on the back stroke, something important to remember when
mounting a blade.
- You can use jigsaw blades if you wish, but for that, you have to grind
their end to the thickness of a saw blade.

Objet : KR> tool tip for the day

I just got around to trying the high speed air body saw I got at Harbor
Freight a few months ago. I used it to cut the plywood floor in the KR
where the brackets for the grove gear go through since I didn't have
anything else that would get in there to cut it. I was amazed at how good
it works and played with it on some sheet metal, spruce, and fiberglass
also. I am going to use it a lot more where I would have used other tools
in the past now. Everyone needs one of these. The body shop guys have
been
keeping this tool a secret for too long.
