The person who is going to build the X-Plane KR2 has more experience and knowledge on this subject than almost anyone, so if he says that is the kind of information he needs, that is the kind of information I want to give him. The more and more accurate information that we can send in, the better the plane will be. I have X-Plane V 7 and tried to build one with Ameet, and we were only partially successful. This one will be a good one if I can get the information. All of what you said is true, but you have to give it the performance specs or it does not know how to act. Do you have X-Plane 8.2x? I gave up somewhere in 7. something., with the plane as it just kept getting worse. I think the whole system is much better now, but won't know until the new version arrives.
See N64KR at http://KRBuilder.org - Then click on the pics See you in Mt. Vernon - 2006 - KR Gathering There is a time for building and a time for FLYING and the time for building is OVER. Daniel R. Heath - Lexington, SC -------Original Message------- But in X-Plane you build the plane model and the sim tells you how it will fly. That's the big selling point of X-Plane, you can change the wing airfoil model or the size and shape of the body or tail and tell it what HP your engine is and it will demonstrate to you how it should fly.
