Hi Guys------------Just signed back on the net after a year or so, I'm sure this was talked about but do wooden props need to be indexed as well? I've been flying N6399U for 5 years now and never heard anything about indexing before.

I would not fly in a airplane that didn't have the propeller properly indexed I know of one instance of an airplane that had a propeller cut to the wrong length and the prop developed a crack 17" from the tip he was very lucky to have been able to get the airplane on the ground . Do yourself a favor and don"t give it a whirl untill you have the prop properly indexed. ----- Original Message ----- From: "L. D.
