I am finishing rebuilding my aileron bellcranks and pulleys brackets, and
I am really battling with zinc chromate primer. It sprays to a very
powdery finish, and if I put a thick coat, it peels off. I did my best to
degrease the parts nicely, but apparently, this is not enough. Is there
any secret about that?

I planned to do the WAFS with zinc chromate primer too, but on second
thought, I will try my luck with some RUST-O-LEUM primer instead. At
least, it holds tight to the part!
